REMASS - KIT Workshop "Resilence of the future global land system"

A distinguished group of researchers from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) met REMASS researchers from BOKU to discuss joint interests and possible collaborations on evaluating the resilience of land systems under global socioeconomic and climate scenarios. A range of current developments in modelling and data analysis were discussed.
KIT researchers included Almut Arneth and Mark Rounsevell and their respective research groups. BOKU was represented by Karl-Heinz Erb, Benjamin Fleischmann, Sarah Matej, Nicolas Roux and Helmut Haberl.Several options for future collaborations were discussed, and follow-up meetings will likely be held in the foreseeable future.
